Aimee will guide you through the design and craftsmanship process striving to make it a fun experience for you. You will not be made to feel daunted discussing the differences between gold and platinum or the colour, clarity or shape of a diamond.
Jewellery designs can be handmade in gold or platinum, choosing a simple diamond solitaire or perhaps a more creative multi-stone colourful sapphire or ruby ring with brilliant cut diamonds pave set around the piece.
Aimee Winstone will discuss your bespoke engagement rings in Bristol in her rural workshop at the Winterbourne Medieval Barn. This is a relaxed appointment to discuss your metal choices as well as gemstone and diamond options that will fit your budget.
Inspiration ideas can be incorperated into your bespoke jewellery design; you might be planning a proposal abroad or you have a common interest that can strike up a romantic theme. An engagement ring is one of the most romantic puchases you will make; designing a ring with a romance story can be treasured forever.
A choice of diamonds and gemstones can be sourced for you to view. Detailed jewellery designs; which will often be rendered on a computer CAD program will ensure you understand exactly what your will receive. Photographs of the engagement ring making process will be taken which you can keep and present after your proposal.
Your one-of-a-kind engagement ring will be presented to you in a beautiful wooden box.
You can design your ring as a surprise or as a couple together. If you would like an element of a surprise engagement proposal Aimee can source a diamond or gemstone for you to propose with. It will be presented in a temporary ring in a wooden box, you can then experience the bespoke design process together. The bespoke process can take 8-10 weeks.

A gemstone can be chosen based on you and your family’s birthstones, your favourite colour or simply a stone you have always wanted.
A choice of traditional or unusual gems can be sourced and diamonds can include GIA certificates.
Each gemstone’s care and cleaning needs will be discussed with you, making sure you choose the correct stone for your lifestyle.

Where are the gold & gemstones sourced
Aimee Winstone is passionate on ensuring the sustainability and traceability of the materials used in her jewellery is as transparent as possible. The silver and gold are used from recycled sources and Aimee likes to support independent gemstone dealers which have a fairtrade ethos with knowledge of where the gem has been mined and cut.
