Another Fantastic ‘Wax Carving’ course with Aimee! I’ve been on two now and have learnt such a lot. She is a very good teacher and explains the processes thoroughly. I am very pleased with the pendant and ring I made. The suppliers, casters & tools list was a great help and I look forward to carving more things in the future. The studio is in a wonderful setting. Thank you Aimee!

What an interesting course with such a lovely, experienced, patient and helpful teacher!

My friend and I took Aimee’s course earlier this year, so we could learn some techniques that we could use for a collaborative venture to make and sell silver jewellery together. I have been designing and making silver jewellery for the last 5 years as a hobby, so know a reasonable amount while my friend is an artist though she has never worked with silver. Although we both have very different skills, Aimee took us through the wax carving and casting process with ease. She was great at explaining how the whole process works including all the machinery that the casting companies use and taught us the techniques and about all the tools that we needed.

We were so happy with our final pieces and have learnt enough to practice on our own. Aimee has since been in touch with further tools and casting companies that she thought would be useful to us.

I couldn’t recommend this course enough as she’s also such a fountain of knowledge because she’s been in the jewellery business for years and was so sweet throughout the course, that it was a pleasure to meet and learn from her. She has a wonderful studio in the countryside that is so tranquil with a lovely view that is the perfect place to escape busy life and enjoy being creative for a couple of days.

We are looking forward to going back to visit her open studio days and enjoy seeing more of her own work.

Aimee is more than a jewellery designer she is a true artist.. I did the ‘2 days learning to make jewellery’ workshop and I absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend.. I am hopeless when it comes to crafting but she patiently explains and helps through the whole process, it’s incridible how you easily learn! Also had the chance to see some of her customised jewellery work.. all very unique and delicate, brilliant!
